I'm Martin Florea,
Founder of Break Into PE
After graduating from university, I knew I wanted to pursue a career in investing. With no prior internships in Investment Banking or Management Consulting, as well as no privileged family background (my parents are engineers from Eastern Europe), I was told I should forget about joining one of the leading funds in Europe.
After lots of hard work, I was eventually able to break into one of the most prestigious investing firms, Cevian Capital, the largest European Activist investor. When I then made the move to join Hellman & Friedman, probably the most sought after Large Cap Private Equity firm in Europe, I realized that I had figured out a unique playbook on how to master every single interview. Now I use my own personal struggle and success to help people just like you break successfully into the leading Private Equity firms in Europe.
